Lift Others Up – Comrie, Kudirka and McWhirter 2024

Lift Others Up, the inaugural show at K U D I R K A held in June 2024 featured the work of established Scottish women artists Rowena Comrie, Sarah Kudirka and Alison McWhirter.

Their colourful midsummer show emerged from conversations between Sarah, Rowena and Alison (who have all lived close by the space in Glasgow’s West End) begun when the space itself was just an idea. As well as friends each is a painter with a bold, distinctive style. The high-ceilinged historic interior and big walls gave each an opportunity to show ambitious new paintings together.
