Sarah Kudirka

A series of images inspired by the city of Dundee on Scotland’s east coast. I have made just a couple of trips to Dundee with my Polaroid so it depicts a place I do not yet know well. But I always love exploring cities.

My images of the city to date include paintings of the head office of the publishers of The Beano comic and the striking riverfront Kengo Kuma building for the V&A museum. I have chosen a clear bright blue sky for my version of this city. Time is Memory is a phrase taken from a shop-mounted clock there that fits the whole series.
